I got this back during Zoya's Earth Day promo.  Before seeing swatches of the Beach and Surf collection I had my heart set on Rory, but the photos changed my mind.  Now I wish I had both, but I'm glad I have this.

I'm officially behind on the challenge - I'll get to Week 20's challenge some other time.  Today I have a fruit inspired color rather than fruit inspired nail art.  Boring? Maybe.  Pretty? Yes.

Here's the latest green gold duochrome goodness Chanel Peridot dupe! I was never inclined to buy the real thing, but for $6 - wahoo! Peridot is my birthstone anyway, and the color has really grown on me.  Let's go on!

Week 14 - Stripes

These are stripes, right?
Posting two days in a row because yesterday lacked photos! This post has been in my drafts for quite a while now...I'm actually wearing "real" stripes right now, but I'm saving them for next week! Magnetic polish has always intrigued me, but its inflated price never appealed to me.  Now that there are more and cheaper options, I decided it was time to give in.  These are a bit small (0.33 oz) and cost $9 each, or BOGO 1/2 off.  Icing and Claire's? That seemed silly and janky to me at first, but the swatches online proved me wrong! To Icing I went!

I don't like feet.  Why would I show them to the internet? I Don't know.  I actually have very paintable toenails, but my toes are weird! Or at least they feel weird.  My toes are seriously curly, and make pretty shoes hurt my feet.  Anyway, I used a heavily effect-ed phone photo of this ever popular shade to try to keep everybody's eyes in their sockets.

Literally, A Square Polish

I know, this isn't Week 2's French tip! I will be posting that in the next few days, I promise.  Today I have an old Urban Outfitters polish I got maybe 3 years ago, when they had the square capped bottles with different patterns on the side.  I have no idea if these older ones are 3 free so if anybody knows, do tell!  I bought this because I was so excited about a matte grey polish (before I was nail polish obsessed and knew about mattifiers).

I found this challenge through Jenna Froggy at I'm Still Thinking... and decided it was a good way to finally start a nail blog - plus, it's a weekly challenge which is a lot more realistic for my habits than a daily challenge. Sorry..no cleanup on this one, but here is my very first post!
